UNBOUNDED LIFE

here we sit on planet earth
playing life's strange game
and from a time soon after our birth
inside a realm remain

sometimes profound, sometimes subtle
our life is stripped away
we each reside in self-made bubbles
we each have gone astray

as children we know only the golden
now from inside we see it as strange
what useless struggle, our powers stolen
we must get back, must make the great change

Not some fantasy or passing attitude
but actions based on total integrity
performing tasks in great multitude
Our new powers will be booming and shiny

Getting there will be a chore
with traps along the way
and it may turn into a bore
time stretch out all the way

Have made the map
but how to begin
must tap the sap
start to grin
